Therefore, Mirtskhulava believes that the average median tariffs, which were within the range of 5.5-6.6 cents depending on the different generation facilities, should be adjusted by 20-25%.

"We can say that over the last three years, there has been an increase of about 30% or more in the cost of construction. Conditionally, if building 1 megawatt in hydropower cost 1.2-1.5 million dollars, now it can be even 2-2.5 million dollars."
